About Bellevue Ranch

Bellevue Ranch LLC is owned and operated by Laura Prange and Rex Gandy in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Bellevue Ranch is dedicated to producing high quality racing quarter horses. Our mares have been chosen because of their outstanding bloodlines and proven performance at the track. The bloodlines of our horses are represented by the champions at the top of the page: A Classic Dash, Dash for Cash, Rare Form, and Three Bars(from left to right). We employ a business model of breeding to young stallions that have the potential to become breed leaders. As an example we note that the foal class of 2008 includes the colt Oaktreeous out of the 2003 AQHA world champion Oak Tree Special. Oak Tree Special had $628,470 of earnings at the track. Oak Tree Special finished third in total earnings among first year sires of 2007 with average earnings per starter of $19,000. The foal class of 2009 will include the offspring of Jess Louisiana Blue, a 2002 AQHA Champion Aged Stallion.
